Dying To Talk

Tuesday, April 28
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm (Pacific)

Despite the normalcy and 100% predictability of our shared mortality, talking about death is often avoided. In this dynamic conversation facilitated by IWF NorCal member Juli Betwee with IWF NorCal member, Dr. Dawn Gross, we will explore why death is such a taboo subject in healthcare and what you can do to encourage your doctor to talk straight with you. What do we risk when we avoid conversations about death? What can we gain when we do? How can we engage with people we love who avoid talking with us? What would be possible if we were to uncover a shared reality that we are all actually dying to talk about death?

Date: Tuesday, April 28

Time: 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm (Pacific)

Location: Webinar via Zoom

Cost: Free, but registration is required to participate (Zoom link and details will be included in the registration confirmation e-mail.)
